Como significar el sonido dentro de la práctica artística contemporánea. Un espacio de debate y reflexión.

Ponencias abiertas que pretende ofrecer a los asistentes conocer a artistas invitados que se sitúan dentro de la creación sonora experimental que trabajan con diferentes aspectos de la materia sonora, que hibridan y expanden este campo; y participar en actividades colectivas, para descubrir y reflexionar sobre las características simbólicas, materiales y políticas del hecho sonoro.

How to signify meaning sound within contemporary artistic practice. A space for debate and reflection.

Open presentations that aim to offer attendees to meet invited guesta artists who within the experimental sound creation work with different aspects of sound art, which hybridize and expand this field; and to participate in collective activities, to discover and reflect on the symbolic, material and political characteristics of the sound event.

[ES] Los trabajos de Anna Katarina Martin transitan espacios híbridos y ambiguos que casi siempre combinan tecnología, performatividad y arte contemporáneo. Las grabaciones de campo en entornos y parajes naturales muy diferentes, como ámbito rural de Aragón, Valencia y Catalunya o la reserva natural de la Rías Baixas, atestiguan su conocimiento por los sonidos en en diferentes contextos en una experiencia única.

En la siguiente sesión se desarrolla a partir de las grabaciones que el artista Ricardo Fernández Martin realiza en exclusiva para la ponencia. Interesado en la producción de situaciones utiliza sintetizadores modulares para construir sistemas performativos. Ha centrado su trabajo reciente en la combinación de los procesos culinarios con la generación de sonidos procesados.

El resto de la jornada hablaremos sobre temas vinculados a sus trabajos e investigaciones, y otros muchos relacionados con el ámbito del arte sonoro en un conversación abierta con los participantes.

[ENG] The pieces of Anna Katarina Martin's transit through hybrid and ambiguous spaces which usually combine technology, performativity and contemporary art. The field recordings in very different and odd environments and natural settings, such as the contrified and rural scope of Aragon, Valencia and Catalonia or the Rías Baixas natural reserve, testifies her knowledge of sounds in different contexts in a unique experience.

In the next session is based y devolped on the recordings produced by the artist Ricardo Fernández Martí exclusively for the presentation. Interested in the production of situations, he uses modular synthesizers to build his performative systems. The recent work has focused on combining culinary processes with the generation of processed sounds.

The rest of the day we will talk about topics related to their work and research, and many others related to the field of sound art in an open conversation with the participants.

Anna Katarina Martin y Ricardo Fernández Martin, artistas e investigadores, han mostrado su trabajo de forma individual y colectiva en instituciones como La Cárcel Centro de arte de Segovia, In-Sonora Festival Internacional de Arte Sonoro e Interactivo, JustMad Feria de Arte Contemporáneo, Medialab-Prado y han participado como ponentes en encuentros de investigación como La Situación Encuentro internacional sobre el estado actual de las prácticas artísticas en el ámbito iberoamericano (2016), II Seminario de investigación Puntos de encuentro Procesos de investigación en y desde las artes, (2019), IV Jornadas de Doctorandos en Bellas Artes de la UCM, Acción Spring(t) IV Congreso de Arte de Acción.
