[ES] Cápsulas Fuentes es un proyecto anual de carácter interdisciplinar de apoyo a la investigación teórico-práctica artística en formato de residencia y seminario de investigación, taller, concierto y exposición en colaboración con la Biblioteca y el Master en Investigación en Arte y Creación (MIAC) y el vicedecanato de Cultura de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. [ENG] Cápsulas Fuentes is an annual interdisciplinary project to support theoretical and practical artistic research in residence format and research seminar, workshop, concert and exhibition in collaboration with the Library and the Master in Research in Art and Creation (MIAC) and the Vice Dean of Culture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid. | VANG#7. Digital / postdigital Ensemble Container + Stefan Prins + Enrique Tomás VANG. Músicas en vanguardia. 2018 -2019 [ES] Revolución y generación digital son el eje vertebrador del díptico que ofrece el Ensemble Container (Basilea), en el que se podrá presenciar la ya mítica obra de Stefan Prins, “Generation Kill” (para vídeo, ensemble y game controllers), junto a una nueva obra encargada a Enrique Tomas: "Post-digital". Desde diversas perspectivas, ambos compositores plantean un discurso en el que lo digital adquiere un papel preponderante, no sólo como medio, sino también como contexto y nueva realidad social que es puesta en tela de juicio. En los días posteriores al concierto, Enrique Tomás y el Ensemble Container realizarán una extensión divulgativo-pedagógica de su planteamiento, gracias a la colaboración con la Facultad de Bellas Artes (Seminario Cápsulas Fuentes) y Medialab-Prado (Taller de investigación Artística) |

Digital / postdigital Ensemble Container + Stefan Prins + Enrique Tomás VANG.Vanguard music. 2018 -2019 [ENG] Revolution and digital generation are the backbone of the diptych offered by the Ensemble Container (Basel), in which you can witness the already mythical work of Stefan Prins, “Generation Kill” (for video, ensemble and game controllers), along with a new work commissioned to Enrique Tomas: "Post-digital". From different perspectives, both composers present a discourse in which the digital acquires a preponderant role, not only as a means, but also as a context and new social reality that is questioned. In the days after the concert, Enrique Tomás and the Enseiner Container will carry out an informative-pedagogical extension of their approach, thanks to the collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts (Cápsulas Fuentes Seminar) and Medialab-Prado (Artistic Research Workshop) |

En VANG se dan cita diferentes manifestaciones artísticas y musicales con un nexo común en la búsqueda y exploración de nuevos discursos sonoros. VANG transita por la música contemporánea, la improvisación libre, el arte sonoro o la performance, por el presente y por el pasado, tratando de acoger y proponer diversas formas de sonar, de escuchar o de percibir. In VANG different artistic and musical manifestations meet with a common link in the search and exploration of new sound discourses. VANG travels through contemporary music, free improvisation, sound art or performance, for the present and for the past, trying to accept and propose different ways of sounding, listening or perceiving. Seminario Internacional: CÁPSULAS FUENTES III. [ES] Seminario internacional en torno al campo de investigación doctoral donde se aborda las singularidades que ofrece la investigación interdisciplinar contemporánea entre arte, tecnología y naturaleza dentro de los nuevos lenguajes sonoros. El seminario lo imparten especialistas del campo del arte sonoro contemporáneo. En esta edición acompañan a Coco Moya: Mikel Arce (artista, doctor y docente de la Universidad del País Vasco) quien investiga, a través del arte sonoro y la experimentación artística, las propiedades espaciales y dimensionales del sonido; y Enrique Tomás (artista, doctor y docente de la Universidad de Arte y Diseño de Linz, Austria) quien experimenta sobre la intersección entre el arte sonoro, la computer music, los medios locativos y la interacción humano-máquina. International Seminar:CÁPSULAS FUENTES III. [ENG] International seminar on the field of research of the PhD where the singularities offered by contemporary interdisciplinary research between art, technology and nature within the new sound languages will be addressed. The seminar is taught by specialists in the field of contemporary sound art. In this edition they accompany Coco Moya: Mikel Arce (artist, doctor and teacher of the University of the Basque Country) who investigates, through sound art and artistic experimentation, the spatial and dimensional properties of sound; and Enrique Tomás (artist, doctor and teacher at the University of Art and Design in Linz, Austria) who experiences the intersection between sound art, computer music, locative media and human-machine interaction. Investigación artística desde la práctica sonora y musical [ES] Taller de investigación artística enfocado a las prácticas sonoras (música, arte sonoro, etc) en colaboración con MediaLab Prado. Este taller a cargo de Enrique Tomás (artista, doctor y docente de la Universidad de Arte y Diseño de Linz, Austria) y miembros del Ensemble Musical Container (Basilea, Suiza). En el taller primero se discutirán de manera colectiva los planteamientos de la llamada investigación artística. Después se propondrá una serie de pequeñas preguntas o provocaciones artísticas que los participantes tendrán que resolver a través de metodologías de investigación artística, es decir mediante la práctica y creación (y no la observación) de la obra artística. Dichas provocaciones y los resultados obtenidos se orientarán a las prácticas sonoras. Artistic research from sound and musical practice [ENG] Artistic research workshop focused on sound practices (music, sound art, etc.) in collaboration with MediaLab Prado. This workshop by Enrique Tomás (artist, doctor and teacher at the University of Art and Design in Linz, Austria) and members of the Container Musical Ensemble (Basel, Switzerland). In the workshop, the approaches of the so-called artistic research will be discussed collectively. Then a series of small questions or artistic provocations will be proposed that the participants will have to solve through artistic research methodologies, that is, through the practice and creation (and not the observation) of the artistic work.
